Father Brown (2013-)
Yet another cozy British criminal offense drama , Father Brownis a period musical composition set in the fifties , while Britain is still recovering from World War II . The show follows its titular character , a local non-Christian priest in a lowly town who receive himself solving many of the arena ’s biggest criminal offence . It ’s an unusual premise , to be sure , butFather Brownis the platonic ideal for a lighthearted rendering of one of these appearance .
The series can have some pretty open religious overtone , but if you ’re down to get phantasmal , then the wit and good luck charm ofFather Brownmay be exactly what you ’re look for .
