Overall , the series blew away fan and newcomer alike , and audience would very much wish to see these seven thing in season 2 .

Madelyne Pryor has long been a tragical villain in the Marvel Universe . Having been revealed to be a clone of Jean Grey , Madelyne saw her cosmos and sanity fall apart , and she eventually fly under the influence of Mister Sinister . Though Madelyne leave for Genosha on good terms with the X - Men , she sadly drop dead in the Sentinel attempt on the island .
However , like Jean , Madelyne has died and been resurrected before in the comic , so hopefully , audience will see her come back from the drained as an ally to the XTC - Isle of Man . If she does come back , she should probably bring in her own squad of heroes , similar to the Dark X - man seen in 2023 .
The New Mutants are born
The show ’s reboot began with Sunspot being offered a home with the X - Men , and the new sport has since take residence with them and begun a romance with Jubilee .
However , pass that he is a found phallus of the New Mutants in the comedian , perhaps the next time of year will show him ramify off with a conference of his own now that the decade - Men have been disperse across time . Perhaps he can even take Jubilee with him . Let ’s just hope it turns out better than their 2020 film .

Illyana Rasputin , aka Magik , was first seen in theX - Men : The Animated SeriesepisodeRed Dawn , which had her and her comrade , Colossus , stay in Russia to reconstruct their farm . Unfortunately , fans never saw her become the iconic superhero they roll in the hay her as , with Morph only appearing as her in one of his shape - switch cameo .
But considering she was a major part of the New Mutants and theInfernostoryline adapted for this reboot , audiences may finally see the mutant sorceress take up her Soulsword and eldritch armour in the next season . The show already teased her debut , with Morph appear as her in the third episode .
