Fablewas given a release windowpane for 2025 but was just announced to be campaign back into 2026 . The first look we got atFablewas little more than a spirit - typesetter and mean to build up some hype . It re-introduce us to this antic world , as well as the comedic tone the series is known for .

TheXbox Games Showcase trailerfollows the same format of the previous one of being an interview of sorts , this time with a retired hero named Humphry . There is a thin hint at the story here , as he explains know a former submarine sandwich who made some haywire choices . At the very end of the dawdler we see him and the main lineament advance some figure in a robe holding a stave who claims “ I ’m going to fix it — this spot . ”
Gameplay
Swordplay will be a given , including some cinematic takedowns , plus magic like a bolide . There was also a spell that establish up a group of enemies that were then sniped out of the air with a bow .
In terminus of enemies , we see a handful of human opposition , a look at some sort of werewolf , petty goblin creatures , and a big tree freak .
The trailer also mean plenty of social interactions , which has been a staple fiber of the series since the beginning . Again , we do n’t see how they will crop or if the minigame - style systems will come back .
There ’s a fantastic nip of the iconic chicken - kick , so hopefully that will be included in the final release .
