Fiat is taking a slenderly more fun approach to germinate EVs . The troupe is showing off a hefty fivenew EV conceptsthat show off what it thinks the time to come of galvanising railroad car will look like — and that will at long last serve as inspiration for next EVs that will set in motion starting after this year .

The railcar are inspired by the metropolis cars built by Italian carmaker Panda and will launch start in July 2024 with a raw city machine . Fiat will then launch a new example each year for three more years . It ’s unclear if the auto will set up in the U.S. , though they could end up animate other succeeding EVs that do launch in the U.S.

Unfortunately , Fiat has n’t apportion anything about the specifications of the railroad car , and we likely wo n’t try details like that until the motorcar set up in their last course to the populace .

The first of the four concept is the City Car construct , which is exchangeable to the original Fiat Panda . Fiat showcased an EV variant , along with hybrid and natural gas - powered variants — though we ’ll have to hold off and see if all of those powertrain options see a launching .

Third up is a Panda motor home , which is marvellous than the SUV and has what looks to be all - terrain tire and a cap wrack . There ’s an integrated ladder and even an mix windmill to generate power .

Fourth is the Panda pick-me-up motortruck , which has a smaller lading seam and a full - width tailgate , though the layer does n’t really look all that large . Perhaps more interesting are the lights that can be get rid of from the front of the car and set up on the ceiling rack .

Last but not least is the hatchback door , which is build with a sportier design and a fastback body manner . It , too , has oversized wheels and a treble - tone gloss scheme with pixel lights on the tail .

If these machine ever see the luminousness of sidereal day , there ’s alotthat wo n’t make it to production — but it ’s still a playfulness look and an interesting display case for where Fiat think these cars could go in the near future .
