As of the showtime of July , 2024 is now officially half over . And so far , we ’ve had some really spoilt picture show in theatre . That ’s not even counting the made for streaming dreck that clog up the selections onNetflix . The only reasons whyAtlasandRebel Moon : Part Twoaren’t on this list is that we tried to keep our choices limited to theatrical releases only .
Our cream for the five worst movies of 2024 so far include two horror flick , one activity comedy , one comedy without laugh , and a superhero movie that may go down in chronicle for its sheer ineptitude on all levels .

Director Matthew Vaughn has expressed his shockand dismay at the terrible reappraisal thatArgyllereceived earlier this class . This movie ’s biggest sin is that it ’s not nearly as funny as it seems to believe it is .
4. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
When Superman and Batman infix the public domain within the next few years , you should expect to see more creatively bankrupt hire on them in the vein ofWinnie - the - Pooh : Blood and Honey 2 . This was a hastily made continuation to last year’sWinnie - the - Pooh : Bloodand Honey , which reimagines the lovely talking critter of the Hundred Acre Wood as sanguinary monsters who want their retaliation on Christopher Robin for abandoning them .
The subsequence is more of the same , as Christopher Robin ( Scott Chambers ) is blamed for the murders in the previous film . alas , the execution of that premise leaves a muckle to be desired . This horror film has a decided want of panic and an inane book that fall apart under the slightest scrutiny . This movie plays like a bargain basement version of Stephen King’sIt , and it should have stayed inter .
2. Poolman

Poolmanis Pine ’s first film as a director , and he co - wrote the script in addition to star in the title persona as Darren Barrenman . But after this flick , we really have to question Pine ’s cinematic instincts . The short interpretation is that this isChinatownby elbow room of the Coen brothers , minus the laughs or engaging characters .
DeWanda Wise makes her second show on this list as June Del Ray , the woman who get Darren to playact recreational investigator as he construct the plot of land point ofChinatown , including a water supply imagination cabal in Los Angeles . The film actually gets a ternion of actresses on the upgrade — Sydney Sweeney , Isabela Merced , and Celeste O’Connor — to play the three future Spider - Women . But in an especially egregious decision , they ’re only in costume and empowered in brief visions of the future . That robbed the film of the only thing deserving checking it out for .

IfKraven the Hunteralso flops afterwards this year , we can only go for that Sony check affect that Spider - Man ’s supporting cast and villains can carry their own shared universe .
